The Associations Annual Conference - 2001 was hosted by ...

Seamus Grogan, Chief Fire Officer, Carlow - on May 8^th and 9^th in The Seven Oaks Hotel.

The theme of the conference was Fire Safety and the Environment and it featured speakers from The United Kingdom, The United States and The Czech Republic as well as from Ireland.

The Conference was opened by the Minister for The Environment and Local Government,

Mr. Noel Dempsy, T.D. The Minister of State in the Department, Mr Robert Molloy, T.D. also addressed the delegates and guests at the conference dinner.
